FALL TRYOUTS UNDERWAY

Blue Wave Baseball will conduct the following try outs for its Fall-Winter teams that start practice in August and tournament/league games in September.

• Blue Wave 14U-Garcia will conduct tryouts for his Fall 2011 team at 5 PM Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Northwood High School, 4515 Portola Parkway, Irvine. This is a 14U Majors-level team that is ideally suited for incoming high school freshmen that are still league-age 14 for the 2011 playing year.

• Blue Wave 16U-Garcia is also based at Northwood High School and will conduct open tryouts at 4 PM Friday Aug. 6, on the high school varsity field. This is a top young showcase team with mostly incoming Sophomore players that are high JV or varsity level players. The team is coached by Aron Garcia and will play in the 16U USA Baseball Championships (Junior Olympics) next summer.
