Blue Wave Baseball is a premiere club baseball organization that provides high-quality instruction by some of the top baseball professionals and coaches (high school, college, and pro) in Southern California .

Blue Wave Baseball is for competitive players from 9 to 18 years of age that are serious about baseball and in achieving the "next level" in their personal growth and "game."

Blue Wave Baseball fields teams for league age 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15-16U Mickey Mantle, and 17-18U Connie Mack. Though many of Blue Wave's teams are based in Irvine , CA , the organization has recently expanded to include teams in Yorba Linda and the Newport Beach area.

With teams in all age categories and multiple locations, Blue Wave Baseball provides players with an opportunity to play with one club baseball team from their early years all the way through high school.

Blue Wave Baseball is a year-round program with teams participating in highly competitive Spring, Summer, and Fall/Winter leagues as well as local, regional, and national championship tournaments throughout the year. Blue Wave's 12U team goes to Cooperstown each year, the 14U team is headed to a Cal Ripken tournament in July, and the Mickey Mantle and Connie Mack teams are always in the hunt for World Series competition.

Blue Wave is also expanding into international competition and developing a player exchange programs with countries like Japan and China.

Coaching Makes The Difference

Win or lose its coaching that makes the difference in how fast or how far your baseball game progresses. That's why Blue Wave Baseball partners with the top coaches in Southern California to develop our players. And, "player development" is Blue Wave Baseball's top priority.

Yes, we all want to win, but, more importantly, we want our players to learn, grow, and succeed in taking their game to the next level-whether that's making their high school team or gaining a college scholarship.

To achieve this goal, Blue Wave Baseball only works with coaches that have as much passion in teaching the game as they do in winning the game. And, by placing player development ahead of everything else, winning as a "team" takes care of itself. In fact, a Blue Wave Baseball "team" starts with the selection of the coach after we check their references and observe them in action to ensure they meet our criteria. Once we select a coach, we then recruit players and build a team around him.

Several of our coaches are professional trainers that have played or coached at the high school, college, and professional level. In all cases, Blue Wave Baseball coaches are there because they truly care about their players and in teaching them the right way to play the game.
